Band Boosters Meeting Thursday, May 9th 6:30pm TA Band Room All Parents please come to our band parents meeting this Thursday at 6:30pm in the TA Band Room.  We will discuss the Chicken BBQ, awards banquet, and the upcoming marching season. Hope to see you there!


All parents are invited and encouraged to attend.

We need HELP

Saturday, May 11th with our

Chicken BBQ

We need Sellers and Cookers.  I know this weekend is very busy, but if you can spare some time on Saturday morning please either text or email me ASAP.  Students please sign up in the band room.

Happy early Mother's Day to all our band moms!

Cookers:

Please report to the Montezuma Park at 3am.  We usually finish up around 9am.  Wear old clothes.

Sellers:

Please report to the Montezuma Park at 7:30am to pick up signs, money bag and chicken.  Then you will move to your selling location.  In March we ended by 12pm, but it depends on when we sell out. 

Chicken BBQ Items & Pre-Sales

Due: Friday, May 10th

Students please bring in your assigned item and any pre-sales by Friday, May 10th.  This will dramatically reduce our costs and increase our profits.  I have attached the list of supplies needed and a pre-order form to this email.

City-County Percussion Concert

Tonight at 6:30pm!

EVERYONE is invite to come hear the percussion ensembles from the city and county high schools.

Percussion students need to arrive at Harrisonburg High School between 6-6:10pm with music and sticks.  Dress is black concert dresses or black dress pants and white dress shirt (or tux shirt).  No tie, coat or cummerbund.

Saturday, May 11th

Volunteers Needed!

We need student and parent volunteers to help cook (starting at 3am), wrap the chicken (starting at 6:30am), and sell the chicken (starting at 7:30am).  ALL VOLUNTEERS need to report to the Montezuma Ruitians Park/Pit at the beginning of their shift.

Student Items for the BBQ

Students were given a list of cooking items needed for the Chicken BBQ. I have also attached a copy to this email.  In order to reduce costs, we are asking every student to bring in their assigned item by Friday, May 10th. This will help increase the profits that will directly go back to the students.

Pre-Order Form

I have also attached a pre-order form to this email.  The more we pre-sale the quicker we can sell out on Saturday.  Please turn in your form by Friday, May 10th.  You need to pick up your order on Saturday, May 11th either at the Montezuma Pit from 7:30-9am OR in the TA band room between 10am-12pmDo Not go to a selling location.  Checks should be written to Turner Ashby Band Boosters.


Marching Knights 2019-2020

Turner in Your Form TODAY!!

Students please turn in your commitment form for next year's Marching Knights.  It is going to be a GREAT YEAR with many new things and activities, including a trip to Busch Gardens!  Our staff is shaping up nicely with highly qualified personnel.  You can listen to our four show ideas on our website listed below.  We will vote next week for our show, so get your forms in ASAP!! I have attached a schedule and commitment form to this email.
